A new trend that you can see people today believing, talking about and trying to practice is that of multiple streams of income. Many distributors promote at the same time many opportunities that are involved repeating that diversification is a needed way for someone to go.

While I do agree that diversification brings more security to your income and can shield you from many unexpected things like one of the companies you promote go out of business, I believe more in focusing. Robert Kiyosaki in his books is saying that diversification means I don't want to lose and focus I want to win.

That also holds true in network marketing. If you are a big earner it would make sense to enter new business opportunities in order to secure the living you are enjoying. But if you are starting right now, trying to make your first dime in multi level marketing, it's almost crazy to try to do with many companies what you can't do with one.

Admit it, when you are new in the game the f

irst thing you need is to learn what to do in order to start building your organization. You need training, coaching from your sponsor and experimentation with the true and tested try and fail method before you become capable on standing on your own feet. You are not learning particle physics, but surely would take some effort and time from your part no matter how simple it can be.

But how on earth would you accomplish this if at the same time you are involved in more than one network marketing companies? It's plain simple that you can't, at least if you are interested in getting results. But it's about the results you are in, about realizing your dreams and achieve your goals, not for spending your time without getting anything in return.

Focus on building a network within one company and after you master the art of business building you can expand if you want to promote additional MLM opportunities and products. But unless you learn first how to do it in one place you won't be able to replicate it elsewhere.
