If you're reading this article it's probably because you're searching for the "silver bullet" of online marketing methods for your business opportunity.  You're a sitting duck for some of the "pie-in-the-sky" online marketing agencys that will promise you all of the traffic you can handle... 1000's and 1000's of visitors every day.  This article could very well save you from wasting any money on these proven to fail advertising methods.

    There is nothing worse for me (as someone who specializes in helping business owners generate their own leads) then speaking to someone about generating their own leads and they've been turned off the whole process because they foolishly wasted their money on some of the following online advertising money-pits and received zero or very little response from their efforts, only to be turned off the process entirely...
     

    1. Do NOT Buy Popunders, Popups or Exit Ads – No matter how targeted or how many you will be told you're getting do not waste your money on these type of ads. If you've been marketing online for quite some time you will know why this traffic is garbage. If you haven't been marketing online then this one-piece of advice could save you hundreds of dollars. Please take my word for it ;)
       

    2. Do NOT Buy Guaranteed Email Blasts – This is one of the quickest ways for you to lose your lead capture page, your domain name, your account with your ISP and possibly even termination from your company. Anyone offering to mail out your ad to 50,000 – 1,000,000 opportunity seeking prospects for a small fee is ripping you off. These lists are re-sold and mailed to over and over and ove

      r again. In many cases the person who has sold you the mailing just purchased the list from someone else. Don't waste your money unless you have your own server, and an excellentreliable source of autoresponder quality leads. 
       

    3. Do NOT Buy Search Engine Submission Services – This is a very misunderstood method of promotion. Submitting your lead capture page or company replicated website, even personal website for that matter to search engines does absolutely NOTHING for you in the eyes of the search engine that you cannot do on your own for FREE.

      These services charge anywhere from $50 to $300 or more to submit your website to 1000's of search engines. In reality there are less then 10 search engines that really matter and I'll show you the fast and free way to do this in another article.
       

    4. Do NOT Buy “Guaranteed Search Engine Placement” Services – Beware of any company that promises to get your website ranked highly in the search engines. The easiest way to find out if they are legit? Do a search on Google or Yahoo for “Search Engine Placement” or “Search Engine Optimization”... Do you see them on the first, 2nd or 3rd page? I highly doubt it... Don't waste your money!  Often these people will troll pay-per-click ads, click on your ad (costing you $1.00 or more) then call you to pitch their crappy services.  It's NOT how respectable Internet Companies should be doing business.  If they were so good at what they do why would they be marketing like this...?

      Hopefully you read this article before you pull the trigger on any of the above marketing methods.  The money you save can be put towards much more responsive and targeted marketing methods.
