Will the voices of its enemies be heard one day and its death be officially declared by a seal from the authorities?
Well, I really don't think so. In fact
it's almost impossible for such a thing to happen, since multi-level
marketing it's not a new thing and companies operate successfully for
decades under this model, creating millionaires and helping thousand
others make a living. But here is the hard facts on which I base my
opinion.
First, as I mentioned the whole model
and the industry is with us for many decades and it's not some new
“disease” that the Internet brought to us the last years. Its
history is very long and through all this years its enemies have
tried to ban this business model with no success. If they didn't
manage to do it in periods when government control and intervention
in the economy was greater, what chances do they have in an
unregulated, more free and lax business environment like that of
today? Pr
Second, is a multi-billion dollar
industry responsible for moving a lot of products. Products that most
of them are produced within the United States and give jobs to a lot
of taxpayers and voters. Not to mention the tax revenue directly from
the companies that patches a lot of holes in the federal budget. No
politician would ever do such a blunder since they cannot afford it.
Third, the last years many stars have
endorsed it directly or some of its products and help it gain
popularity and better acceptance from the public. Even Donald Trump
the known real estate mogul and billionaire, endorses network
marketing as a business model that can help average people make
money. What's more it is also becoming very popular among ordinary
people and the number of them that are involved with it keeps growing
every day.
Fourth, MLM is not any more fragile and
unprotected left to the whims of its enemies. Today it has its
lobbyists embarked on the mission of protecting its interests and
trying to shield it from every malevolent or ill-willed enemy and
basher that may try to harm that model.
